From December 26 through March 31, view the magnificent California gray whales as they migrate from the cold northern waters to the warm breeding grounds of Central Baja lagoons. Traveling more than 10,000 miles gray whales swim day and night the extraordinary journey takes about four months. They stay close to the coastline and swim alone or in small groups. Thousands of people along the pacific coast enjoy the sighting of these amazing creatures once on the brink of extinction.
